Surreal photo-collages

Workshops

1-day workshop
The works of the artist Kensuke Koike are based on simple techniques of collage. Old photographs are taken, individual parts are cut out and reattached elsewhere. In doing so, interesting, funny and often surreal motifs emerge, which put the original photograph into a completely new context and fully change its meaning. Kensuke Koike will present his collage technique. Together with a museum educator from the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum you will then create your own collages. Please bring portrait photos to the workshop.
Works by Kensuke Koike can be seen in the exhibition When Images Collide in the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum.

Please note: The course will be held in English as well as in German.
Executers: Kensuke Koike (artist), Anna Quintus (museum educator)
Location:→ Wilhelm-Hack-Museum Ludwigshafen
Costs: 40 € (incl. material) to be paid cash or with EC-card at the ticket desk
