From 8 October 2022 to 5 March 2023, the Kunsthalle Helmond (in the Netherlands) presented the exhibition Walker Evans Revisited. This exhibition was previously shown at the Kunsthalle Mannheim during the Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie 2020 curated by David Campany. Walker Evans Revisted illustrated how Evans, who died in 1975, continues to inspire many photographers today. On display were works by around 20 artists who continue and expand on Evans' everyday photography, as well as works that respond directly to individual images or projects by the American photography legend.
